AFL Vanuatu – Plei Footy Blo Jenis

Participants engage in a weekly AFL competition, and receive education on gender equality and female leadership. The program will build healthy and active environments that value and respect all, regardless of gender or intellectual/physical ability.

By conducting a series of training sessions and competitions for women, men, girls and boys in communities around Port Vila and Luganville, AFL Vanuatu aims to make a positive and meaningful impact, focusing on fostering healthy and active environments that value and respect all. Leading into each competition and preceding each match day will be a series of education initiatives from staff at the Vanuatu Department of Women's Affairs, as well as a follow-up session once the program is complete.
